Live Trader Engine (US) - Website for a Brokerage SaaS Brand

Overview
Developing Live Trader Engine’s website entailed building a digital presence that reflected the sophistication, reliability, & technical depth of a SaaS brand serving brokerages & trading businesses. This wasn’t just a marketing site but a strategic asset meant to inspire confidence, convert leads, & communicate complex solutions with clarity.
From the outset, I applied the Scrum methodology to break the project into focused, iterative sprints. We began with a discovery sprint to understand the brand’s voice, audience segments (from institutional brokers to fintech startups), & the competitive landscape. My goal was to ensure that every page, every interaction, & every line of copy reinforced the brand’s authority in the trading tech space.
Technologies
To deliver a fast, secure, & scalable website, we selected a modern, enterprise-grade tech stack:
Frontend: Next.js (React) for server-side rendering & SEO optimisation
CMS: Headless CMS (Strapi) for flexible content management
Backend: Node.js for API integrations & form handling
Hosting & DevOps: Vercel for deployment, Cloudflare for CDN & security
Analytics & Tracking: Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, & HubSpot integration
Design & Collaboration: Figma for UI/UX, Miro for wireframes, Jira for sprint tracking
Team
I led a compact, agile team of six:
- 1 Frontend Developer
- 1 Backend Developer
- 1 UI/UX Designer
- 1 SEO Specialist
- 1 Content Strategist
- Product Owner (Myself)
Like all my other projects, Scrum was my compass here. I facilitated all Scrum ceremonies, maintained the product backlog, & worked closely with the brand’s leadership to ensure the site aligned with their evolving go-to-market strategy.
Challenges
Easy-to-understand content diction: Translating highly technical brokerage services into clear, compelling web content was the main challenge. I collaborated with the content strategist to develop a messaging framework that balanced industry jargon with accessibility.
Site performance: Another challenge was performance. The site needed to load fast globally, especially in regions with slower internet speeds. I worked with the developer to implement image optimisation, lazy loading, & edge caching via Cloudflare.
Uniqueness
What made the Live Trader Engine website stand out was its blend of technical credibility & modern design:
- Interactive product pages that explained complex SaaS offerings with clarity
- A dynamic “Solutions by Industry” section tailored to different client types
- Integrated lead capture forms with CRM automation
- A modular CMS structure that allowed the marketing team to update content without dev support
Conclusion
We launched the Live Trader Engine website to strong internal & external feedback. Within the first month, bounce rates dropped by 38%, & demo requests increased by 62%.
When built with intention, agility, & empathy, a website becomes a powerful extension of the brand itself.
